Promoting agile thinking - what really lies behind it

Agile working means designing work processes flexibly, iteratively, and creatively – in accordance with the principles of the Agile Manifesto. The goal is always customer satisfaction, which is optimized by regularly gathering feedback during service delivery. Numerous agile methods are available to implement these values. For example, the Kanban method, with tools such as Trello, Jira, Asana, Quire, etc., helps visualize a team's workload, set priorities flexibly, and achieve step-by-step progress. Design Thinking, another frequently used concept, structures the phases of the ideation and development process before prototypes are created, tested, and adapted with customers. Retrospectives, in turn, enable the continuous improvement of collaboration within teams or at interfaces.

At ONGO, the focus is on applying agile working methods in the context of ergonomic and flexible work environments. Products like ONGO's seating solutions are specifically developed for agile and dynamic workplaces, making flexibility and continuous feedback a physical experience. Through adaptive, movement-promoting furniture that encourages an active posture at work, we support the "fail early, fail fast" principle directly in everyday office life – making rapid adjustments through direct feedback in agile processes more tangible.

The application of methods represents only one aspect of the agile mindset. Rather, it should be understood as a fundamental attitude that embraces openness, cooperation, and flexibility as core values. People with this mindset live the agile principles in their daily lives. They promote transparency, cultivate open and respectful communication, and work across departments to develop collaborative solutions. The focus is on the continuous pursuit of improvement, whether in product development or internal collaboration. ONGO supports this attitude with product solutions that promote agility and flexibility and strengthen collaboration – both within the team and across departmental boundaries.
