The emergence of ONGO: Innovation from personal need
Founder Eberhard Lenz, originally from a construction and project development background, developed the first ONGO® stool out of a personal desire. His goal was not just to create a new chair, but to revolutionize active sitting. The key innovation: an integrated ball track in the curved base. This generates acoustic feedback that encourages continuous movement – thus naturally strengthening the back muscles.
